The Haiku Challenge 2012 – Day 4 – Opposite Emotions

Feb 04

The prompt for today’s haiku is “opposite emotions”

Day 4:

Farewell
Tears of joy escaped
Unbidden. Goodbye sadness
Hello happiness
Her cheerful smile hid
An inner turmoil raging
Under the surface
