During our recent trip to Sikkim and Darjeeling, we had the pleasure of enjoying the tranquility of the Peace Pagoda. Located in Darjeeling atop a hill in Charlimont, the Peace Pagoda is one of the 30 pagodas in the world built by the founder of the Japanese Buddhist Nipponzan-Myohoji Order, Nichidatsu Fujii, in November 1972 and opened to the public in November 1992.
