“There isn’t much better in this life than finding a way to spend a few hours in conversation with people you respect and love. You have to carve this time out of your life because you aren’t really living without it.” – Real Live Preacher
What beautiful words. We had a lovely evening yesterday with Sury’s school classmates, (DTEA Delhi) whom he met after 34 years – yes, really. Most turned up with families. And it was as if they had all been talking yesterday, and just picked up where they left off, in conversation. The best thing was, even the families hit it off instantly. Lots of fun and laughter.
Truly, a magical moment in time.

I love that quote! Isn’t it beautiful when old friends meet after years and it seems like they just spoke yesterday? Although I’ve had my share of awkward conversations with people I met after years, all the times we pick up where we left off just moments to be cherished!

How nice to see you visit this post, Shinjini! Your comment brought back memories of that lovely evening. And yes, I’ve also written about the awkward convos with people we just assumed would be the same as they were, years ago. Sigh. Hugs!
Your 2-minute art is just beautiful! My son has been literally bullying me to sketch and after reading your post, I guiltily realized that it really doesn’t take a lot of time. Thank you so much.
