Insecure relationships – bad for health

by Vidya Sury July 27, 2010 0 comment

A new study shows that people who feel insecure in their relationships may be at increased risk for cardiovascular disease and other health problems.

In fact, those who felt insecure in relationships or avoided getting close to others appeared to have a greater risk of developing several chronic diseases, according to an analysis of data from the US National Comorbidity Survey Replication. (woo! didn’t even know something like that existed!)

The thing about On / off relationships

If you live in constant fear that your partner might abandon you, your stress levels go through the roof. No one likes feeling that they are on appro all the time.

You cannot base your happiness and health on getting the approval of one person, however special you may think he or she is. If someone really loved you, they would show it. If you feel as if you’re walking on eggshells all the time, difficult as it might be, it could be time to hit the road. And find someone who loves you in the way you deserve to be loved. You’ll be healing your heart in more ways than one.
