Free your mind

Now that’s one of my favorite phrases. Freeing your mind of excess emotional baggage lets you live a better life. Nicely put. How to achieve? Practice is the key.

Fact is, we all tend to hang on – consciously or otherwise, to some very painful things and this includes guilt, hate, anger – you can add to the  list. We even hold on to something as little as frustration, which ought to evaporate quickly.

Freeing your mind is possible with this trick – it works for many people, and you might be one of them.

Imagine emptying all your negative feelings, or just one feeling you would like to remove, into a large pot. The pot is full of this feeling. Now walk that pot over to the washroom. You know where you’re going to dump it. Lift the lid. Pour it in. Flush!

Ah, liberation!  Happiness is within reach.

Try it.
