With traffic what it is today, you really have to watch where you are going.
I could be confident about my driving, but obviously I cannot answer for the other maniacs on the road. Every day, we read or hear about rash drivers, road rage and deaths from road accidents. Worse still are the injured ones who are disabled for life, usually through no fault of theirs.
So where does that take us? Road rules do rule. They are there for specific reasons, solid ones. This applies to everyone on wheels – cyclists, motorists, everyone. It is always far better to arrive a couple of minutes late – in one piece – rather than NOT.
It is important to be patient on the road and not take chances. 🙂 It is easy enough to assume that the rest of the drivers are total idiots and will do stupid things – and be careful accordingly. A fender bender can really get on the nerves and drive you crazy literally – but a major accident can change your life.
Or someone else’s. Forever.
Or just end it.
Death is final.
Cheers!

And NO to cell phones, while driving, riding any vehicle, or even while walking on the roads.
Absolutely, Raji – I feel like smashing anyone that’s doing that.
I used to have the habit of using my cell phone the moment i sit behind the wheel, but now i dont use it since i have to use both my hands while driving, one on the wheel and the other often times to change the gear, obviosuly!:).I am ready to get the kick from anybody for the crime i did before:). But I am totally against those who use cell phones while riding two wheelers!I would agree for total ban on using phones while driving.
Meera, thank you for dropping by. Looking forward to “seeing” you often here.
