Ok – so while the process is a straight forward one, it can be quite challenging in the beginning.
But there’s one rule you can use when you start the process. And that is ” Don’t say anything to yourself that you wouldn’t say to anyone else.” Like my grandmother used to say, “If you’ve got nothing nice to say, say nothing”
As you get through your day, stop and assess what you are thinking. If you spot a negative thought in your head, evaluate it rationally. Then, respond with affirmations of what is good about yourself.

It’s so much easier to be happy if you focus on the positive things in life. The more positive your thoughts are the easier!
You’re absolutely right, Alice. Thanks for visiting.
Positive thinking is something which everyone should put forward in his/her life.
But one comment is that, the environment you are in plays an important role in moulding your positive attitude. If your parents/partner etc are not positive thinking, it can affect your positive thinking too.
It’s true, Anon. Our environment shapes us in many ways. But experiences also influence us – and therein lie our decisions – to be happy, or not.
