Day 10 – Prompt: Write a haiku describing a special day in your life.

Oh, I have many many special days in my life. Two are etched in my joy list for ever! The day Vidur was born and the day he said “Ma” for the first time.

Day 10:

Unforgettable
I held my baby
in my arms for the first time
I was born again
My bundle of joy
With his little hand in mine
spoke his first word “Ma”

Thanks, Terri. This one was very easy for me. How our babies twist us around their cute little finger! You just sent me to cloud 9 with those compliments!

Thank you, dear Kim! We believe that when delivering a baby, the mother herself is reborn :-D, as it is such a life-changing experience!

No matter what we were or become, this is one title and status all mothers cherish, don’t we? Loved the born again part 🙂

Absolutely, Zephyr! My mother’s words about “maru piravi” keep ringing in my ears! I had a difficult birth.
