four seasons haiku vidya sury

For Day 19, the prompt is “Write a haiku on your favorite season”. I love every season for its own unique characteristics. So it has to be The Four Seasons for me.

Day 19:

The Four Seasons

Spring

A fresh perspective
New beginnings. Birds rejoice
Fragrant flowers bloom

Summer

Summer vacations
Memories of lazy days
With family, friends

Winter

Warm clothes, cozy home
Wrapped in hugs. Bowl of soup
Winter quilt waiting

Fall

Drifting autumn leaves
On the driveway.  Sleepy blooms
Wait as spring draws close
