The Haiku Challenge 2012 – Day 21 – Dedication

by Vidya Sury February 21, 2012 15 comments
It feels as though Day 21 has arrived too quickly! Today’s prompt is “write a haiku based on the theme:
 “Dedication”
To my mom
A portrait of love
Embodiment of all wise
And wonderful things
My mentor and friend
She steered me on the right path
Inspiring my growth
To my pressure cooker

Without you, my life
Would be difficult. Cooking
Tasty food a chore
To my spectacles
You gave me vision
To see the world around me
In its full glory

Written for The Haiku Challenge 2012 – Day 21 – February 21st – Theme: Dedication

These Haiku are so well done. I’m sure your Mother would be especially pleased with your dedication to her.

🙂 Thanks Andy. My folks were laughing when they saw the cooker and the glasses! Couldn’t live without either of them.
