The Haiku Challenge 2012 – Day 27 – Unleash Your Inner Strength

Inner strength

Day 27 – and the prompt is “Paint the Image” with a haiku. Folks can you believe there are only two days left for this challenge to conclude?

But first, a haiku for my fellow haiku challenge participants, visitors, readers, and the amazing people who commented:

“I’m convinced I got
this far just through  your support!
How can I thank you?”

Here’s Day 27:

Unleash Your Inner Strength

Iron bars are no
match for willpower. Step out
Or stay back. Your choice.

Inside? Outside? Just
A point of view. Perception
Will help you decide.

No matter how strong
the door. No matter which side
you see, there is Hope.

Take inspiration
From the star on the iron
Bar. Stretch. Fly. Transcend.

Taking inspiration from a star that has been to the fires of hell and lives on is a wonderful idea!

Hi Vidya,
Saw you comment on Communal Global only today. The brain behind CG is Laura Dugovic. Last year around this time she had put up a post on CG itself asking for contributors who are interested. She blogs at http://thelolaletters.blogspot.com/. You can visit her there…
May.

Yes, if only they could fly! I’m flying now, in my imagination stretching further and further away from those gates…

Inspired!

Hugs, Kimberly. I feel overwhelmed when I am able to write words you feel emotionally about. Thank you so much. I doubt I could have done it without your support.
