Five thousand years ago, there came to earth a magical being called Krishna, who brought about innumerable miracles for the good of mankind. Humanity despaired of its fate if the Blue God were to die but was reassured that he would return in a fresh avatar when needed in the eventual Dark Age—the Kaliyug. In modern times, a poor little rich boy grows up believing that he is that final avatar. Only, he is a serial killer.
In this heart-stopping tale, the arrival of a murderer who executes his gruesome and brilliantly thought-out schemes in the name of God is the first clue to a sinister conspiracy to expose an ancient secret—Krishna’s priceless legacy to mankind.
Historian Ravi Mohan Saini must breathlessly dash from the submerged remains of Dwarka and the mysterious lingam of Somnath to the icy heights of Mount Kailash, in a quest to discover the cryptic location of Krishna’s most prized possession. From the sand-washed ruins of Kalibangan to a Vrindavan temple destroyed by Aurangzeb, Saini must also delve into antiquity to prevent a gross miscarriage of justice.

Disclosure:
No compensation was received for this post. I am promoting the contest because – well – I am nice like that. I was browsing YouTube for a song and found it – and was about to “skip the ad” before the song, when the music grabbed my attention. I thought hey what’s this? And it was the ad for The Krishna Key by Ashwin Sanghi. I thought, wow, wouldn’t I love to read that book! A few minutes later, Ashwin (Sreekumar not Sanghi) from MySmartPrice told me they’re having a contest. Was the Universe listening or not?
I am hoping Ashwin (Sreekumar not Sanghi) will want to send me a review copy of the book – keeping those digits crossed!) Why? Well, why not?
Cheers!
Vidya

I always love your optimism. It always lifts me!
Thanks, Janet. Hope is a beautiful thing!
I’ll be curious when you review the book! Looks interesting. It reminds me that this is the Kaliyuga, the dregs of time, which I am familiar with from Buddhism. I didn’t realize it’s a belief in Hinduism too. Interesting!
Sandra, I am waiting for the book which is/should be on its way to me.
According to the Dashavataar (ten incarnations of Vishnu), the last one is pre-ordained to be “Kalki” who will save us from Kaliyuga. 🙂 We also believe we know where Kalki will be born.
It is a fascinating story. Thank you for coming by!
Huh? You didn’t get a free book?
I will, Bill, I will 🙂 Ashwin has promised to send me one 😀

Well, they claim it is some place in North India called Sambhala which, some people believe to be in Andhra Pradesh and some elsewhere. 🙂 The Kalki Purana talks about this. No secret. 😀
This looks great! I love your book reviews. I want to read this book because it reminds me of the style of book I love, just like the D’Vincci code.
Thanks for the review Vidya!
I loved the Da Vinci Code too, Betsy. I am eagerly waiting to receive my copy of this book so I can do a full review. 😀 Exciting!
