BANGALOREANS UNITE!! WE’VE DONE IT!! THE VERY FIRST BANGALORE MIXER! There is a write up in the Sunday Times of India dt.17th aug 2003, about ryze. Here’s my precis:
Sixteen attended – and we had a really nice and pleasant evening. lovely location, even if it was kind of far off…we began with informal intros…snacks..(samosas, potato wafers, nuts, soft drinks) and around 6.30, sat in a circle and intro-ed ourselves formally. we talked about where we could head with the group…ideas are simmering and will probably shine through in the next meet. the main idea was to actually get together – as a first step!!..suggestions were made as to a more easily reachable location, frequency of meet – with a tentative bi-monthly being decided on; we all agreed that to make it a successful group, the more the merrier. numbers! we talked about how we could enrich our lives by interacting with each other – professionally and personally, considering that the members of a common group should have a symbiotic relationship.
personally, i thought it was lovely that a diverse group could meet in one place for the first time and get along so comfortably. my personal thanks to all those who came along, for the rich experience.
