you know…way back…’friendship’ had a very different way of manifesting itself. lately, i find people being such an overdose initially and then they jus cant seem to sustain the relationship. there seems no depth at all. if i had to make a list of friends i could count on….i find myself with maybe 3-4…and these are people i’ve known for at least 2 decades, dammit! the recent ones seems like floating population. amusing, to say the least. i wonder how they manage. imagine striking an instant rapport with someone…practically being in their hair for a couple of days…and then….nix. one wonders if they really meant what they said! probably they did. the times….you bet they are a-changing!!
