But I came across someone else that did – someone who was pretty close to one of the locations when it happened – and here is the link to his blog where he describes his experience:
A Night Out In Mumbai
Mumbai, or Bombay as we think of it, is where I was born. We lived in Andheri and I went to school at the Little Flowers’ Primary School until I was 8. I also studied at the Mount Mary School, Bandra before we moved off from Mumbai. Then, I was back in Mumbai in 1997 when I got married and stayed on the TIFR campus, Navy Nagar, Colaba.
Irrelevant, I know, but to me, Mumbai is hometown, because we have roots there. I grew up believing that anyone from Mumbai, is ALRIGHT! Friendly, open-minded, bindaas.
It hurts to hear about acts of terrorism in any place – but it hurts a bit more when one’s spent years in the place. I pray for Peace.
Cheers!
Vidya
