Lend me thy ears and relax

Okay – so we all know that a relaxing facial massage not only feels great, but helps you look good. It revs up your complexion.

But did you know that a ear massage does even more?

So don’t forget those ears!

Why?

Because an ear message

  • boosts blood circulation
  • relieves tension
  • brings on a fresh healthy glow
How to?
  • Using your index fingers and thumbs, hold the rim of your ears and lift them slightly upwards.
  • With small rotations between fingers and thumbs, massage the area
  • Now, move down, massaging as you go
  • When you reach the ear lobes, pull them down slightly
  • Massage again
  • Repeat
  • Use small quick circular movements and massage the spirals of the ear with the pads of your index finger

It takes approx. one minute.

Feel good, stay healthy! And let me know if it worked.

This is really interesting, Vidya! I LOVE my full body massages (I get one every 3 months, and wish it was more) — but my massage therapist never massages my ears.

I do notice that when I massage my husband’s ears, he simply melts. I think this is one of the simplest, healthiest, easiest ways to stay connected to your spouse 🙂

Blessings,
Laurie

PS I’m posting your article about adults with ADHD right away, and will email you.

Oh.. This is so true, Vidya! I do this to my toddler and you’re right, she loves it. I think I’ll take Laurie’s advice and try it on my husband too:-)
