R.I.P., M F Hussain

Sad to hear that M F Hussain is no more.

Obviously, he’s immortal through his work.

We had the good fortune to live with one of his large scale murals when we lived on the TIFR campus in Mumbai since Sury worked at the TIFR. Here’s a picture of the gorgeously breath-taking canvas that adorns the wall at TIFR:

Amazing you have a different take on M.F.Hussain. I am surprised because all I have heard for past few days is about his nude paintings and why he has not painted his family in nude etc.

Greatness always has to deal with the “other side”. I only look at his work and admire. Not what everyone else says about it 😀 If we did that, life would be so unbearable!
