How to Tress for Success

This post brought to you by TRESemmé. All opinions are 100% mine.

I wish I had a solution for every time I had to go out in a hurry and realized my hair did not look the way I wanted it to look. It can be so exasperating. My clothes would be ready, but my crowning glory, my hair, wouldn’t cooperate. The more I tried the worse it would get.  I’ve often wished my hair could handle a daily shampoo. And it seemed like there was no solution in sight.

Tress without stress!

It was then that a friend recommended TRESemmé Fresh Start Dry Shampoo. Wait a minute. Dry shampoo? What’s that, I wondered. She went on to say that I could enjoy a quick shampoo without water. Of course I thought she was kidding. Apparently not. Because her daughters and she swear by the TRESemmé Fresh Start line of dry shampoos that is a staple part of their hair care regime. And I must admit I was tempted, because you see, I’ve always admired my friends’ fabulous hair, believing it was genetic.

Now you too can say goodbye to bad hair days

With TRESemmé Fresh Start, forget limp lifeless locks. Think healthy glorious hair, instead, without the guilt of skipping a shampoo. TRESemmé’s line of dry shampoos is uniquely formulated to absorb excess oil and get rid of odor while reviving your hair without a single drop of water.  This shampoo has a renewing burst of citrus extracts that makes your hair smell great.

Clean, great smelling hair. Every. Single. Day.

TRESemmé Fresh Start gives you a customized solution for clean hair without water. To get a fresh start to each day, here are some tips to max out the benefits with TRESemmé.

  • Shake vigorously before use and in between spray bursts
  • Lift sections of your hair and spray lightly at roots
  • Spray in short bursts, holding about 8-12 inches from head
  • Do NOT spray like hair spray, all over and continuously
  • Leave it in for a couple of minutes
  • Use your fingertips or a brush to spread it evenly in your hair
  • In case the nozzle clogs, remove and rinse it in warm water and fix it back again

Dry shampoo is an excellent idea. I recently grew my hair long (well, shoulder length) after having it short for 25 years. It’s quite a lot of work and I wash it way too often. I will be looking into this. I guess I always knew dry shampoo was around, but never thought about it for myself. Until now. Thanks!

Terri, be sure to let me know how it worked for you. My hair’s waist length and am eager to try this out. Besides NaNoWriMo we can compare notes on this, too.

Yep, Kim, it is. 🙂 Try it and let me know how it works for you :-). I haven’t seen it here on the shelves except among the imported goods shops. This company is US based.
