Inspiring words

Just what I needed today. A particular project I am working on right now is taking longer than I anticipated. I was telling Terri this morning that I’d rather be cuddling my blogs – I feel as though I haven’t spent time with them in a long time – when it is actually only a couple of days. I came across this fabulous poster today that I plan to print and hang up where I can see it.

I don’t know why, but it freaked me out that we’re already in December 2011. Okay, so I do know time, tide (and even I) don’t always wait for everyone. But I suddenly had the feeling that the days were just rushing by. I should be happy, considering that my good ole NaNoWriMo went so well and I got such fabulous comments and encouragement.  I even have some orders for my book, which is not even ready yet.

What is this je-ne-sais-quoi kind of feeling? I’ll just put it down to what I am working on right now. Also, I am probably fretting over my to-do list and the fact that I haven’t checked off all the items I wanted to. Or it could just be an add-up of a multitude of small things. Whatever. I know I’ll be fine tomorrow morning because I believe in the sleep-over-it technique. It always works for me.

Sometimes we all need some extra motivation, no?

I will be back tomorrow. With or without a b-a-n-g.

I’m sorry to hear you’ve been so busy, my friend. You are such a hard worker! The upside to that is that you are “in demand”. That’s always a plus. I LOVE the poster you placed on today’s post. I’m going to print it out and hang it in my little work space here at home.
“je-ne-sais-quoi kind of feeling”? Yea me too!
Thinking of you today and hoping your work goes quickly so you can do some blog cuddling very soon!
Your devoted follower and nutty friend,
