The Haiku Challenge 2012 – Day 9 – United

The prompt for Day 9 is: Write a haiku inspired by the following image. Okay, folks, I dedicate today’s haikus to my fifteenth wedding anniversary, which is today.
United

I need no padlocks
to keep you inside my heart
My love is enough.
 15 years of bliss.
Together we unlocked joy
Through sad and hard times

Sweet and romantic words! Lucky guy, that husband of yours. Hugs, my friend. Please, send me some good vibes. I’m feeling yucky today. I caught something and whatever it is….I don’t like it.
Stay well and keep those haikus and Sunday in my City posts coming.

Vidya — what a wonderful declaration and tribute to your love … and with time, I am sure the bond grows stronger.

I like the direction of writing it from within vs trying to enter from the outside. Very nicely created.
