In my home, every day is Valentine’s Day. We do not need a reason or an occasion to say our “I love you”s, or show our affection to each other, to our son, our friends, our neighbors…and everyone connected with us.
Day 14 – Valentine’s Day – what could the prompt be? Love or Valentine, naturally.
Love

Love adorns your face
with smiles. Makes you think nothing
Is impossible
Love turns life into
a perfect fairy tale. A
worthwhile existence
Love, the rainbow you
see in your mind’s eye when you
feel sad or lonely

Lovely set of haiku. And … yes … Valentine’s Day is lovely, but I don’t think that we need such a day, at least not for me … in my family love is always present.
I feel the same way. 🙂 No special day to show love. Every day is appropriate!

Very nice — I agree, the sentiments of Valentine Day should be present every day — and solidly rooted in the lives of our loved ones!
