The Haiku Challenge 2012 – Day 4 – Opposite Emotions

The prompt for today’s haiku is “opposite emotions”

Day 4:

Farewell
Tears of joy escaped
Unbidden. Goodbye sadness
Hello happiness
Her cheerful smile hid
An inner turmoil raging
Under the surface

Vidya: so beautiful, so inspiring…may I try? She feels her heart break…As he walks into the night…Leaving her alone.  Love and gratitude…Transform the deep pain into…overflowing joy.
