Dear Vidur,
As we walk around heaven on earth, I am happy to share the wonderfully wise words of The Dalai Lama with Β you today. It is called the A to Zen of life. What a fitting way to wrap up this series of letters to you! Thank you for reading and appreciating them!
The A to Zen of Life
Avoid negative sources, people, places and habits
Believe in yourself
Consider things from every angle
Donβt give up and donβt give in
Everything youβre looking for lies behind the mask you wear
Family and friends are hidden treasures, seek them and enjoy their riches
Give more than you planned to
Hang onto your dreams
If opportunity doesnβt knock, build a door
Judge your success by what you had to give up in order to get it
Keep trying no matter how hard it seems
Love yourself
Make it happen
Never lie, steal or cheat
Open your arms to change, but donβt let go of your values
Practice makes perfect
Quality not quantity in anything you do
Remember that silence is sometimes the best answer
Stop procrastinating
Take control of your own destiny
Understand yourself in order to better understand others
Visualize it
When you lose, donβt lose the lesson
Xcellence in all your efforts
You are unique, nothing can replace you
Zero in on your target and go for it
May you always be happy and blessed!
Love and hugs,
Blessed to be your Mom

Thanks for leaving this comment box – some blogs remove this one, and I can’t comment in the above box at all! My husband, son and I are all new (3 years) converts to Transcendental Meditation. It has helped us all a great deal.

Thanks, Liz! Yes, I remember one of my friends starting TM and transforming into a totally different individual! The change was unbelievable. And because we called him Zorro, I am running over to see your post! Love to you!

Unique and fabulous. Did I tell you how jealous I was of you after seeing that pic with Dalai Lama. And was that Vidur in the pic with you?

What a lovely end to the challenge, Vidya. Words to live by. Still having trouble with that procrastination one, though. π
“Zen” is such a serene word. Cheers!

Thank you, Debbie! I love the word even though it is kind of over-used at home for all sorts of things that mean peace π Procrastination? I always thought Vidya was a synonym for that word!
