H is for Happiness and I bring you thirty happiness habits to practice every day! The theme for this yearβs International Day of Happiness was βShare Happiness β focusing on the importance of relationships, kindness and helping each other.β I thought it was a wonderful theme to spread happiness and make the world a happier place!
This also means kindness towards selfΒ β₯
Here are 30 happiness habits to practice every day!
If you are already practicing them, well, what can I say? You are just amazing!Β β₯
1. Be kind (to yourself and others)
2 Eat well consciously
3. Exercise regularly (even a 30-minute walk every day is beneficial)
4. Meditate (calm mind, happier you)
5. Be honest (with yourself and others. You will have less to stress about)
6. Dream big (yes, they do come true!)
7. Be patient (sometimes it takes time but the wait is often worth it)
8. Judge less (you donβt know what the other person is going through)
9. Smile often (you are never fully dressed without a smile. Also, it improves your face value!)
10. Love yourself (you, more than anyone else, deserve your love and affection)
11. Forgive easily (just so you can live in peace)
12. Show gratitude (gratitude transforms your life)
13. Think positively (energy better spent)
14. Drink lots of water (staying hydrated is important for your health)
15. Believe in yourself (you are enough!)
16. Keep an open-mind (it is nice to have the ventilation and fresh air)
17. Put your needs first (charity begins at home, right?)
18. Donβt make excuses (they are not worth it. You will only fool yourself)
19. Speak well of others (yes, kindness is a great approach)
20. Listen to understand (no other way to do it!)
21. Choose faith over fear (fear is just False Evidence Appearing Real)
22 Make the most of now (present moment, perfect moment)
23. Develop self-discipline (you will get more things done and enjoy peace)
24. Look on the bright side (it is the better side)
25. Avoid social comparison (comparison is the thief of joy!)
26. See failure as opportunity (It is a chance to get it better next time)
27. Donβt take opinions to heart (it isnβt personal. And situations always change)
28. Select friends that lift you up (and ditch the toxic people who drag you down)
29. Let go of what canβt be changed (focus on the good stuff)
30. Have a healthy sleeping pattern (sleep is crucial to be happy)
I wish you a fabulous week ahead! β₯
Donβt forget to be kind to yourself!

This is a list which I am going to keep handy to remind me of some positive things when I am not feeling happy. Great list of pointers to follow to stay happy.
That was a wonderful list for a peaceful and beautiful life. Loved them all, unknowingly practice 95 percent of them, will try to implement the rest like regulating sleep! π

We all know these, but we tend to forget. Thanks for the reminder, shall start today.
Love this. I think my favorite is “Treat everyone kindly…even yourself.” It is so important for us to remember. The world is hard enough. We don’t have to make it harder.
Love these, Vidya. They are all so good, I can’t pick one favorite.
This is wonderful list, Vidya. Great reminders that happiness is within our grasp.

As a ‘quoteaholic’ this list was my food for the day Vidya. So many beautiful and inspiring thoughts to be immersed in. I think I’m floating right now! π
Totally adore this happiness list Vidya! Made me smile so so wide π Heart smile π

Thank you for this list with the rainbow! I try to do many of these each day and it is not easy since I still feel bad about the car and I miss my mom. My dreams are one where my mom is disappointed in me, I lose my job, former friends are impatient with me and donβt want me around. These are my old fears and Iβm not sure why 8 am dreaming this. I have a friend who, right now, is focusing on her illnesses and exaggerates all her issues because, I feel, she needs attention. I donβt think she got the right love she desired when growing up. I wish she would think more positive but she refuses to help herself.
